Bringing  an animal into your home is a huge decision. Adopted pets require training, commitment, structure, consistency, exercise, discipline, and affection to thrive.

The average life expectancy of a dog is 10-13 years. For indoor cats, it jumps to 15-20 years. The medical needs of pets often evolve with age, just like humans. It is a pet parent’s responsibility to budget for costs throughout the lifecycle, including food, accessories (leash, collar, travel crate, etc.), recreation (toys, etc.), and medical care including routine check-ups, medication, and disease management.

To proceed with adoption, you must:

♣ Be at least 18 years of age
♣ Live where pets are allowed
♣ Provide proof of current and verifiable identification (e.g., state-issued ID)
♣ Present all household members at pick-up, human and animal alike
♣ Complete our Animal Adoption application form
♣ Be committed to lifelong care of your new, furry family member!
